Ciao ragazzi, abbiamo programmato un’escursione a Rocca Calascio per sabato prossimo.
UNA BREVE INTRODUZIONE SU ROCCA CALASCIO:
Posta a 1460 metri sul livello del mare, la Rocca è una fortificazione del XII secolo ed è la fortezza più alta degli Appennini. Ai suoi visitatori offre un panorama mozzafiato, che consente di avere una meravigliosa vista su tutta la piana di Navelli e di poter ammirare da vicino tutte le principali montagne abruzzesi. La destinazione ideale per una bella gita in montagna!
INFORMAZIONI PER IL VIAGGIO:
Siccome è abbastanza complicato arrivare fino a Calascio, da dove parte il sentiero per la rocca, andremo con delle auto private. Per ora abbiamo solamente 2 auto disponibili, per un totale di 8 posti, ma, casomai foste di più, cercheremo di trovarne delle altre.
MEETING POINT: Fontana Luminosa alle ore 9:30.
Vi raccomandiamo di venire con un abbigliamento adatto per una bella passeggiata in montagna e di portare dei panini per fare un bel pic-nic tutti insieme!

A LITTLE INTRODUCTION TO ROCCA CALASCIO:
Located 1460 meters above the sea level, the Rocca is 12th-century fortification and is the highest fortress of the Apennines. It offers to its visitors a breathtaking panorama, which allows to have a wonderful view on the plain of Navelli and to admire all the main mountains of Abruzzo.

TRIP INFO:
Since it’s quite complicated getting to Calascio, where the path to the Rocca starts from, we’ll go by private cars. We’ve found just 2 cars so far, only 8 seats are available in total, but, if you were more than 8, we’ll try to figure out how to get some more cars.
MEETING POINT: Fontana Luminosa at 9:30 am.
We recommend you to come with a clothing suitable for a hike and to bring some sandwiches with you to have a nice pic-nic all together!
